Offsite Water Main Extension and Onsite Fire Line for Soljet Fuel Storage Facility

This project included both offsite and onsite improvements at the SolJet Fuel Storage Facility.

The offsite improvements consisted of a water main extension on 55th Avenue from just south of Van Buren Street to Madison Street. Quantities for this portion of the project included 1,095 LF of 8" DIP water line, five 8" valves, two fire hydrants, 326 SY of pavement replacement, and 2,085 SY of slurry seal.

The onsite improvements consisted of the construction of a fire line around the perimeter of the facility. Quantities for this portion of the project included 1,573 LF of 8" DIP water line, three 8" valves, and two fire hydrants.
